Now, we want to share something so cute it makes us want to explode. Temari no Ouchi Cat Cafe definitely stands out from the forest of Japanese cat cafes today – from ones that look like coffee shops with cats to living rooms with cats. There are also numerous penguin and owl cafes in Japan as well. Temari no Ouchi has been designed to look just like a Studio Ghibli anime set. It reminds us of Totoro, one of our favourite Studio Ghibli films.
This cat cafe opened last year in Kichijoji, Tokyo. For something this good, it’s got to cost more to get it than an average cat cafe: weekdays entrance fee is 1,200 yen (£6.80) and weekends entrance fee is 1,500 yen (£8.60).
There is a menu of delightful cakes and drinks for the customers. For the feline friends, there is plenty of chill-out space and hideouts if they feel that they need some time alone. The interior is just so adorable – we wouldn’t know what to squee at first the kitties or the decor! This place is definitely going on our to travel wish list.
And now you can feast your eyes on this unique Japanese Cat Cafe – Temari no Ouchi
